“Music is a gift and a blessing. Our days seem to be so full of the burden of making a "good life" for ourselves that we forget that life is not something made, it is a gift."
“I began playing the banjo at age five, then fell in love with the guitar soon thereafter. I loved the sounds of early bluegrass, and the soulful and mournful vocals that accompanied the heartaches and the joys of people's everyday songs of life. The guitar became my closest friend. I found the emotions that most kids were sharing with one another, more easily expressed writing words on paper, and on the strings of a guitar, than face to face.
“After graduating from high school I hit the road playing guitar, the beach circuit, rock-and-roll, country, soul shows, and gospel. I was lucky enough to be able to try them all. Those day were great, and I was lucky to survive them; fortunate enough to remember them, and blessed enough to find my way back home, get married, raise three wonderful kids, and still be able to play a little.
