In just 6 years of having first picked up a paint brush, Carol Willis has developed a style of oil painting that rivals that of many seasoned professionals. Carol shares a studio/gallery above the Old Salem gift shop with 12 other women artists who call themselves the 'Salem Art Sisters.' The group works together, shows together and, most of all, has fun together as they learn and expand their knowlege about their art.

To see more works from Carol Willis, you may also visit the Salem Art Sisters gallery which is open Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 5pm at 614 S. Main Street in Old Salem.
"And just around every corner, there’s another picture to be captured."
"I have always had this strong interest in art and its creation. Whenever there is an opportunity to view the master’s, participation is my goal. My journey has taken me from painting, pottery and flat and fused glass I’m certain that I have arrived at my next challenge: Photography.
"Living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for more than thirty-five years and enjoying the art available to us in this community has been a joy. We are all so fortunate to live in a country where we can freely express ourselves.
