Tom Conally's introduction to fractals was a natural extention to his love for abstract art. “When I first saw abstract art I fell in love with it. When I first saw a fractal, I realized that I could actually produce my own abstract art. The computer was my ‘artistical liberator.’ I painted several paintings but that really did not satisfy my cravings.”
About his work he says, “I just have a desire to produce something that can be enjoyed by me and others. If I get bogged down, I’ll go shoot photographs, or do origami, or make boomerangs.” Whatever he does, he seems to enjoy life. That’s what is important!
